Does everyone get the GM discount? ›

Eligible active and retired GM and GM Financial employees, former hourly or salaried GM employees with 5 or more total years of cumulative service, and widows and widowers of former GM employees with 5 or more total years of cumulative service.

Chevrolet's advertised examples generally combine employee pricing with additional cash allowances, including incentives that require financing with GM. Add all the totals up, and it amounts to big discounts: 22.4 percent off the 2018 Silverado 1500. 20.0 percent off the 2018-19 Spark, 2018-19 Sonic and 2018 Impala.

The GM Supplier Discount program allows eligible employees of GM supplier companies, and their sponsored spouse to purchase or lease eligible vehicles at a special discounted price below MSRP. Plus, you can combine the discount with most current offers to save even more.

Dealer participation is voluntary. Dealers are not required to participate in the GM Supplier Discount Program. To determine a specific dealer's willingness to sell vehicles under The Program, you must contact the dealer directly.
