What is the max guild level in GW2? ›

The guild level is displayed in the guild panel. It increases from 0 (at creation) to 69, depending on the creation of a guild hall and the upgrades that are made to it. Each guild level requires N * 100 Guild Experience points (GXP), which has a progress bar in the guild panel under the guild level.

Guilds in GW2 are cross server/world with an initial maximum capacity of 100 players. Guild capacity can be upgrade via the Guild Registrar by applying for a larger guild license. Each character may join multiple guilds but may only represent one guild at a time.

For an upper estimate it took me 134 hours and 39 minutes to get my thief to level 80, purely through open world map completion and story and with time spent sorting out the bank, chatting etc. but no significant periods just going afk.
